X Factor Odds – Betting on X Factor

Because of the popularity of the show and its elimination-style nature, many fans bet on who will win, who will be eliminated, and even who the next judges will be. As the seventh season of X Factor gets underway, the X Factor odds for various competitors and other aspects of the show are revealed. Let’s take a look at some of the odds being offered for the new season of X Factor.

Current X Factor Odds for guesses on who will be the winner of the competition have remained the same as the competition has been cut down to eight entrants. Matt Cardle continues to lead, with most bookmakers giving four to seven odds on his winning the competition. He is closely trained by Rebecca Ferguson, at two to one, and then by One Direction, at five to two. After these three leaders things begin to get more risky, with Cher Lloyd being given eight to one odds, Wagner Fiuza-Carriho being given twenty-five to one, Mary Byrne paying thirty-three to one, and both Katie Waissel and Paije Richardson being offered a whopping sixty-six to one payout.

There are X Factor Odds being offered on a number of other aspects of the show, as well. Common bets include which of the four managers will be the first to leave the show, with Louis Walsh leading the pack at a two to seven favourite, followed by Simon Cowell with six to one. Other bets being taken include the winner for Over 28, Top 3 Finish, First Act Announced as Safe, Next to Lose an Act, Top Man, Top Woman, Winning Manager, Final Two, Gender of Winner, and so on.

X Factor Odds currently being offered for Top Man favour Matt Cardle at one to seven, and trailing far behind are Wagner and Storm at nine to two and forty respectively. Top Woman odds include Rebecca Ferguson at two to seven, followed by Cher Lloyd at nine to two and Mary Byrne and Katie Waissel both paying out at twelve to one.

There are even some pretty wacky X Factor odds being posted, such as “What Phrases Simon Will Say on Saturday.” In case you’re curious, current bets being taken include “Having said that” and “look” leading the pack at one to twenty-five, “astonishing” and “be honest” trailing at one to four, “absolutely incredible,” “relevant,” and “your best performance” at one to two, and “absolutely stunning,” “impressive,” “karaoke,” “most importantly,” and “risk” paying out at four to six. “Horrific” and “worst performance this year” both pay out three to one, while “utterly atrocious” pays out seven to one. If you plan on betting on the latter, you’d best hope that someone delivers a surprisingly bad performance.
